Julia earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of San Diego in 2020, then returned for her master’s degree in Marital and Family Therapy. Julia started with CHEAR as a practicum trainee in 2022 and transitioned into a full-time position upon graduation in 2023. She currently serves as a staff therapist, offering support to both teen and adult IOP programs and various outpatient services. Julia also serves as an interventionist for some of the research studies at CHEAR. In her free time, she enjoys playing the piano, trying new recipes, weightlifting, and rooting for the Padres!
