Valentina is a research interventionist for the SHARE and FRESHLC studies at CHEAR. She was born in Bogota, Colombia and raised in San Francisco, CA. She received her bachelor’s degree at CalPoly San Luis Obispo in Psychology and is currently receiving a Master of Social Work at SDSU. Prior to joining CHEAR, she worked as a program coordinator for a teen pregnancy and prevention agency in San Francisco. She aspires to become a licensed clinician. In her free time, she enjoys drawing, teaching her dog new tricks, and exploring different beaches in San Diego.
